Whats a good green for German WWII uniforms,

What would a good base color be for the German green/grey tone?

I agree...for fairly quick job I paint with German Uniform Green...wash with black...highlight again with Geerman Green...then one more highlight of German Green mixed with a touch of a light grey color.

I use Vallejo German Field Grey.

Add a spot of black for your base coat. First highlight pure field grey, then add VGC Dead Flesh to lighten for subsequent highlights. Works a treat.  :)
