Weird, I had it in my mind that the MOBAT was basically a GI Joe version of M-1 Abrams.   Apparently I was way off about that.

Not really - the Abrams is pretty much an MBT-70 follow-up minus the extra tankload of high-tech gizmos (Shillelagh launcher, I'm looking at you).

The Quick-Kick miniature is new too. I painted him a long time ago, but I didn't have any G.I.Joe bases ready till recently. Let me know what you think.

Oh, and I believe Arctic Skunk will have this model up sometime next week.

Those look fantastic! I hadn't seen the MOBAT before. I really should get back to this project soon. There are just so many good options available right now.
