This must be my hardest choice of the whole League so far.  I love Blue`s clean and vibrant painting style, but I love Silent`s overall style (as I mentioned in previous years as well, so no surprise here)

Nice ones. Ilove the orcs, they have this old GW feeling (the positive one) but I like the archers just as well. Btw. I really dig this idea of painting up your troops for an army and post your little troops here. In the end you have this wonderful feeling of having been part of the League AND having finisheda cool army.

Green Orcs and Ham - hilarious, and beauifully painted and presented. Archers look great too. A good match-up, but I just love those orcs, and have been a fan of Blue's painting style since his dwarves first appeared on the forum. I'm really looking forward to shots of both these forces after the League, when the armies are complete!

Thanks all for the kind words...these boar riders are some of my favorite marauder sculpts...they have bags of character.  I agree with jimweaver that the archer is the pick of the litter...though I really like the guy with the chest plate as well...what you can't tell from this picture is that...it's the only thing he's wearing!

And...yes...as Many have deduced I'm using the LPL to get some of my units up to snuff for the table top...I can't justify buying lead just to paint before I have at least the front rank of the units I actually game with painted!  I find this, and other forum, contests to be be extremely motivating and need to take advantage of that as much as possible.  I'm a very lazy man at heart!

I'm really loving your old orcs Blue! It's really making me wish I had a lot more money back in those days and had bought those orcs when they weren't so hard to find.  Really like the blue accents- hardly ever see that with fantasy orcs but it looks great
