Interesting looking ape, he looks like a close cousin to the guys I use for 40K Jokaero.

Where are the crates in the background from? I must have missed a post that featured them.

Cheers, Al.
I am not surprised that you missed him as he has only been available on the KS for a short while.
 ;)

You did not miss anything on this thread as this is their first appearance.
The picture was taken by Bullock and they are from his scenery collection.
They are 4Ground Animal Crates but I cannot seem to find them on their website, which is a shame as I really want some myself.

I am really glad to hear you say that, Matt, as he is part of the 'Joe and Kaero' set from my KS, which finishes in a few hours.

Interesting Kickstarter by the way!

Well done that man!
I kept looking but could not locate them.
Even putting 'crates' in the Search box failed.... o_o

So: 'Thank You!'.
On both counts.

I was just about to post the crate link.

I got them as a freebie at Salute when I bought several 4ground models. Make a huge difference to cover here and there on table.

I make loads of cobblestone walls etc . . so was going to post some alternative photos with Mason's other miniatures when I can 'cobble' together some more time. Thanks for the comments. I've only just started to get back in to painting minis after a long break casting scenery (mainly ruined walls and mosaic and flagstone type floors) hard to find the time to do both! Damn day job!

Team Theydon.... M.O.O.S.(E). Ministry of Occult Studies (England) UD:05/08

Introducing Team Theydon, the Ministry team investigating the reports of strange goings on in Foulmouth....

This is the team run and painted by Legionnaire Bert in our current campaign.
All either kitbashed or converted in some way.
The photo is a bit crap, but I am blaming that on the poor lighting at the time..... ::)

VERY WELL DONE, Bert! They are a FINE LOOKING Team & each model has a unique character...the Guy in the green cap is my favorite. The brushwork & basing are SPLENDID.

Last week saw the return to Foulmouth and the ongoing 'adventures' of Theydon and his team....

With the hue and cry raised, and foul creatures in hot pursuit, Theydon and his team opted to take the disused branch line that once connected Foulmouth to Southend as an option to get to the safety of the town to seek aid and raise the alarm.

Passing the old repair depot they were once again ambushed by locals and their foul-smelling hideous allies...

We played the Escape From Danger scenario twice as the first time Theydon and his team were quickly taken out.
Fortunately for them the only Serious Injury resulted in one of the Agents becoming a Basket Case (quite apt really...), which would help them later on, no doubt, as Psychology was really causing them some grief currently.

The second attempt saw Theydon and the team break through to see the outskirts of Foulmouth in the distance.
They were almost there!

Safety at last?
( lol )

The scenery & miniature are WONDERFUL. The ongoing sinister feel & a sense of imminent danger/doom makes the story line & the game. OUTSTANDING STUFF!

Funny you should say that as Bert/Theydon's team is really suffering under the 2nd edition rules.
Both Agents are carrying a Chest Wound and each have a psychosis of sorts with one suffering from tetraphobia and the other being a Basket Case.
Theydon himself has escaped any lasting injury so far but does carry a Black Mark on his conscience.

It is certainly a stressful occupation, life in the Ministry.

I'm not surprised Theydon has got a guilty conscience given how his two agents always seem to bear the brunt of the opposition's ire!  :( Loving the campaign though, and looking forward to continuing it this week.  :D
