That's a tasty set up mate. I like the re-purposing of the central building, it's a great example of making terrain and scenery work across genres.

Cheers, mate.
I try to get as much use out of all my scenery these days, but this building is annoying me now that I have taken it out for a game again for the first time in ages.
I really do not like the top section....

I really think it would look better with a more simplified top storey....

It is a good thing that that part is made separately so I can change it easily enough now that I have changed my mind, eh?

I don't know. The top story is what makes the piece for moi. It's the tower that needs some sprucing up to go with the SPLENDIDLY detailed upper story...when spoken rather than read, "upper story" sounds pornographic.

Well, as the 'upper storey' is removable I could just swap them out when needed.
The one pictured fits in well in Krappefortt but I think I need something else for it to fit in in other places.
Several different 'toppers' would increase its use.
I could even do one or two for the tower section.....

Now look what you have gone and done!

 lol
I know that feeling.
This was only going to be a small project when I began: A dozen or so 'characters' as Agents, for variety, and about twenty or so 'monsters' should do it, I thought.....
Now look at it!

The whole Fantasy thing started as a "you only need a few miniatures for D&D". That was in '76 or '77. I have a closet full of unpainted minis & thousands of painted ones in other Folks possession. It all worked out SO WELL.

Just would like to say congratulations to Paul on the successful Secrets of Insmouth: Part 2 Kick Starter campaign.  I believe that this is the most successful one yet.  Eagerly await Part 3 now.

Thanks, Lembit.
It is the indeed most successful of the Mythos-themed campaigns.
The Outlanders Sci-Fi-themed campaigns tend to do better, though.
I guess they are more open to inter[retation so attract more interest.

I will be starting work on Act Three next month as I have a few other things to finish first.

There will be another Mythos-themed campaign before that, most likely...

an observatory dome would work.

Yes,  that would be cool. Checking to see if the "stars are right"  etc.

That is one of the options that I have in mind (great minds, and all that... ;)).

I was given plenty of suggestions when I first built it for Krappefortt.
One plonker even suggested a tennis court!

There are a few options but I just dont have the time at the moment.
No rush, though, as there are plenty of other things to do first.

THAT is the option that I am going for at the moment.
Plenty of time to make alternate 'toppers' after all.
 ;)

The next update should feature some 'new' Cultists.....
