Bert's idea about a Club House just clicked with my Piranha Club. Place it in some Evil Marsh of Foul Reputation & paint up your Piranha Boys...now you have an excuse. The Sea Demons might also use it as a daytime hideout.

Thanks, Al!
The Marsh idea sounds good.
I DO need a bit of kick up the backside with the PB's and Sea-Demons, so I will have to bear them in mind.

Could be a decaying old boat in Insmoth.

It is decaying, and I never really thought that it could be a boat that is magically returning to its original state.
Hmmm....

Loch Ness Monster?
Wreck off the coast of Innsmouth -  Hereos in boiler suits vs Deep Ones!
Ghost Ship like the Flying Dutchman? You could paint it blue with white highlights.

More options....
What is one to do?

What with these suggestions and those fellas on the Fantasy board, a plan is begining to come together....I think.

Mason, I had an epiphany. A minor one, but one nonetheless.

I looked at that and thought "Hound of the Baskervilles".  That would make one hell of a 'hollow' from whence the evil strikes.

That is a great idea, superflytnt!
Maybe I can find a way to incorperate that idea into the final adjustment.

When I look at it I just think its the type of terrain that you need when you have a witch as a lurker... That's just me tho Mason.
"The sword sung on the barren heath,
The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

I could not agree more. A witch with her totally mental Irish Wolfhound on some serious mojo juice. Use the ape stats for the critter. There's the winner.

or

Although none of those critters are quite dire enough looking.

I agree with you, mate.

I am trying to put as many of the ideas I am being given into this, as it will make it more generic and useful in as many genre's and scenarios as possible.

That is a good idea, superflytnt.
I already have my Druid figure...

....and I have a Witch waiting for the 'treatment'.

I am trying to do a woodland/wild themed Lurker group to encompass all the various wilderness type elements, so a Beast will be good for that.

At the moment I am using this as a Daemonic Hound, as I think it works quite well:

I may consider either re-basing it to fit in with my SA collection or even converting or sculpting a new, more Cthulhu-esque one, in future.
Not sure,  yet...

The rest of the Wild group consists of a swarm of Giant Vermin...

...and a Shambler.

At the moment I have a Missing Link on the painting table and am sculpting a female one to partner it.
If the sculpt comes out OK, I think that I may have a go at a Daemonic Hound...

COOL...I loved those Old Rats; over the years the hordes of the Little Vermin that I did found new homes & owners, but their memory lingers on. The woodsy ship will have some GREAT LOOKING residents.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Thanks, DeafNala!
I think I have a sensible idea of what to do with the 'Woodship' now, thanks to the suggestions made by everyone on here and on the Fantasy board.
Cheers!
 :)

I should mention that, for the purposes of this campaign, I have played the Lurkers in all the games bar three and have run the campaign as more of a GM.
This means that I have been fairly gentle with everyone in their first three games, having them face off against basic Cultists and giving them all basic, quite simple scenarios with no particularly nasty Lurkers.
Everyone has played the same first two scenarios, the first being Fight! (to ease everyone into the game rules-wise) and the second being Retrieve the Artifacts (to give them the chance of getting some Map Pieces in the bag).
The third scenario has been randomly generated from the standard table each time.

After their first three 'training' scenarios are out of the way, then the real fun begins with the players getting progressively difficult scenarios (including Quest scenarios) and opponents.
Hence the reason why those that have only played a few games seem to have a higher success rate. They have not faced the nasty stuff yet!

I thought that I would post up a couple of pictures from the two games that Bullock played with his Ministry team to get them off of the ground.
They had already played their initial 'Fight!' scenario, in which they were successful.
They played their second scenario (Retrieve the Artifacts) and we rolled randomly for their third...and got Retrieve the Artifacts again!

To cut a long story short and get to the pictures, Bullock won both games, but not without a struggle in both games, as the Cult of the Purple-Headed Worm put up the sternest resistance that they could muster.

The South Western Division

The Cult members that they would be facing

Back later with some pictures from the games....

Nice to see car salesman cultist Bob standing beside the car too. Not sure I've seen tiny Bob before ( with the torch).

Looking forward to the game pics.

 lol
Dont panic, she is not a Maniac in this game, mate, just a crazed Cultist with a Teddy stuffed with Billiard balls!

Shotgun Bob was promoted to Cult Leader for this game, as he stands out quite well.
Little Bob will be making your acquaintance soon, methinks... ;)

Looking forward to the game pics.

Here they are:

Firstly, introducing the team from the South West:

Lord Bullockus of Asparagus in action against a Cultist

Agent Tristan DeTwat, poseur supreme, and Lieutenant of the team

Professor Eli Mentall, studying some heinous graffiti daubed on the ruins

Agent Elmore-Fudd, marksman and heavyweight of the team

Some in-game shots:

And lastly, an overhead view of the rural location where the encounter took place

Sorry that they are mostly of Lord Bullockus, but he does like to be the centre of attention, ya know....

What's this! Terrain I've not seen before! It makes a nice centrepiece for the game. Looks like fun was had and blood was shed.

Made me smile to see shotgun bob getting a promotion. He's a good lad. Always keeps his hood clean.

Still got a few more bits that I have not used for SA yet... ;)
They will all get used eventually.

Shotgun Bob is a good fella and has raised some funds for the Cult with his wheeler dealing, so he deserves his promotion!

A lute?
Of course he did!

You have obviously looked at the figures that Bullock picked out to be his Agents, and I am surprised that you didnt notice the resembelance between Lord Bullock and the man himself!

Not even sure that he did, come to think of it!

OOOH! YET MORE PRETTY PHOTOS! They are a GREAT motivating factor for becoming more or less conscious.
It looks like the Vintage Car Show cover has been blown.
