looks like a blast! I miss playing... :'(

Thanks, styx.
It was great fun and I think the Black Dossier aspect keeps the interest going.

That is one NASTY looking accident...looking forward to The Attack of the Road Kill Zombies from Hell! Report.

 lol
It does look a little like that, you are right.

Here are a few more pics of the table before we started:

The Agents entered the village where they suspected that the Evil Scientist was hiding out.

The dead lay everywhere, corpses rotting in the street, heavily concentrated around a massive pile-up that had happened at the crossroads in the centre of the vill.

Gloria was carrying a net gun in addition to her trusty Thompson, whilst Aubrey himself carried a heavy sedative with which to incopacitate the Mad Scientist when they located him...

...they just had to find him.

I simply adore these "keep the suspense going" AARs from you Mason. Really makes me jealous that you get to play so often!

Looks like a really tough case for the agents this time (like the earlier ones would not have been so :D ). Great looking set-up, if I was an agent entering that accident zone I would keep the safety off on my Thompson  lol

Without giving the game away (literally!) it was another enjoyable game, with a somewhat unexpected outcome (for me)...

Thanks, Antti!

A clandestine meeting between the Minister and a mystery stranger on the outskirts of a quiet country village.

What is going on....?

Lovely, now who makes the stranger and the phone box?

I did not intend it to take this long, mate. Sorry!
As for playing often: It seems I am at the moment.
Gotta make the most of it when you get the chance, I guess.

I think Bert was a little twitching from the moment he first saw the set-up.
The pile of Infected in the middle of the board probably didnt help.
 lol

Thanks for holding your horses, mate.
I will get to the report tomorrow, time permitting.
Just have not had the time yet.

Lovely, now who makes the stranger and the phone box?

The fella is from the Gangsters GN8 Honest Citizens pack by Copplestone and the Phone Box is made by MuttonChop (which are now available from Empress Miniatures).

I will try and get the report of Scenario #4 up tomorrow.
I just have not had time to do it over the weekend.

Sorry...

Cheers Mason!

You are welcome, mate!
 :D

Back to the pictures that didn't materialise over the weekend....

Scenario #4 of This Green and Pleasant Land saw the team from the Thames Valley attempting to capture the fugitive, Dr. Hugh Jarse.
The Mad Scientist and cadaver botherer had been tracked down to what was once a quaint, quiet, rural village.

It was still quiet, just no longer quite so quaint...

As the team entered the village they found the remains of the villagers rotting away in the streets and lanes.
Expecting them to rise again any minute made it a nerve-wracking time for the Agents of His Majesty.

The team made it to the central crossroads of the village before they heard a single sound.

It was at that point that Aubrey heard the now familiar groaning of the Infected coming from the other side of the pile-up at the crossroads.
They had found them!

The Mad Doctor was marshalling his 'troops'....

....and preparing his Serums!

He had gathered what was left of the villagers and prepared to use them to destroy the Agents of the Crown once and for all.

He also had a couple of the living preparing to protect him.
Two of his Guards from the facility would provide what firepower that they could.
They would be seriously outgunned, though!

The team made their way cautiously through the wrecked vehicles.

More later.....

You're not wrong mate! And that's easy for you to say...

Bang up AAR again Mason. I am enjoying reading it, and I played in it! Sterling work, old chap, as I know you several projects and demands on your time at the moment.

Looking forward to the next installment of the AAR.  ;)

I have no doubts that His Majesty's agents will be triumphant. After all, they had time to stop at the Schweppes bus for some Tanqueray and Tonic.

The only reason it's blue is to remind you of the profound sadness you'll feel when you realize that you're not drinking Tanqueray
