You're not wrong mate! And that's easy for you to say...

Bang up AAR again Mason. I am enjoying reading it, and I played in it! Sterling work, old chap, as I know you several projects and demands on your time at the moment.

Looking forward to the next installment of the AAR.  ;)

I thought that you would appreciate that.
 ;)
Glad you are enjoying it, mate.

I have no doubts that His Majesty's agents will be triumphant. After all, they had time to stop at the Schweppes bus for some Tanqueray and Tonic.

Bombay Saphire, please!

The only reason it's blue is to remind you of the profound sadness you'll feel when you realize that you're not drinking Tanqueray

I would have stopped for a gin and tonic too!
 lol

At least a pint!

Thanks, chaps!
Anyone would think that this was a completely different kind of forum.... ::)

I will post the rest of the AAR tomorrow, as I did not get time today.

Will the Thames Valley team capture Dr. Jarse?
You will just have to wait and see....

As it's Strange Aeons, it might have to be a Gorgons and tonic...

As it's Strange Aeons, it might have to be a Gorgons and tonic...

Hmmmm.....

Back to the action.

The team had made their advance to the centre of the village, conscious of all the cadavers that were scattered around them.
They could hear the groaning noises from the other side of the pile-up.
Nerves were begining to become stretched....

As the Agents of the Crown advanced on his position, the Mad Scientists continued his preperations by injecting serum into his first subject...

....to no effect!

The Agents had cleared the area of debris in the centre of the crossroads and surveyed the scene ahead...

The Mad Doctor tried again on a fresh subject...

...Success! (+3 M)
The dead flapper girl was a blur of motion as she went hurtling forwards seeking a victim.
She would certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons!

The dead girl advanced on the team at a rapid and unexpected pace, quickly closing on Randy and Remington...

....the sight of the young resurrected corpse nearing him proved too much for Randy, who promptly fled!

Meanwhile, Remington's attention had been distracted elsewhere, as another walking corpse had attacked Gloria.
The feisty young lass had stood her ground and lashed out at it with the butt of her Thompson and had beaten it to the ground...

The suspenseful build up added a nice dramatic touch to The Tale. Gloria is off to a fine start...feisty backed up by a Tommy Gun is an excellent set of attributes. GREAT STUFF!

Thanks, Al!
Gloria certainly is a mean wench.

The 'suspense' is not always intended, I just run out of time...

The team opened fire on the dead vetriliquist, eventually silencing theat damned puppet forever!

Unfortunately, whilst the rest of the team had been dealing with the stiff in the suit, the stiff in the dress had caught up with Randy and was busy trying to get to grips with him...

Whilst the team were engaged with the first wave of the Infected, the Mad Doc continually tried to make his subjects meaner and faster by injecting them with serum.
Unfortunately for him, his serum was obviously faulty, as the flapper girl is the only one that it had any positive effect on.

In fact, out of the six Zombies injected, there was one No Effect and one +3 Movement result swiftly followed by four Dead results!

Not a good day at the office!

His Guards did put up a little more resistance, engaging in a prolonged firefight with Remington and Gloria before finally succumbing to their superior firepower.

Eventually there was just the Mad Scientist left.
The hunters closed in for the kill...

Dr. Jarse had no option left.

He was holed up in a building with the forces of His Majesty closing in.

His one and only chance to escape fell to one last desperate roll of the dice.
He would inject himself!

Drawing a deep breath he slid the syringe into his vein....

SUCCESS!

He had managed to dose himself up with the correct serum and knew that his reactions and speed would now be far superior to those that hunted him.

He would hunt them now!

Crashing through a window, he made a dash for the twisting alleys and lanes of the village.
He knew if he could draw the Agents into that maze-like area he could hunt them down one at a time.

Unfortunately for him, Aubrey had second guessed his intent and hobbled to intercept him.
Aubrey knew that the evil madman had to be taken alive.
He did not want any of his people to have to face him unarmed, and they could not risk killing him, even accidentally.

Throwing his sword-stick at the fleeing lunatic, Aubrey drew his own syringe out of his jacket paocket.
He would probably only get one attempt at this, as he knew he would never catch the villain if he was to run.

Leaping after the Mad Scientist, who was getting himself back to his feet after being tripped by the artfully flung sword cane.

After a serious struggle, where the Mad Scientist tried his best to stick Aubrey with a wicked-looking surgical scalpel, the man from the Ministry eventually managed to thrust his syringe into the neck of the frothing madman, silencing him.

That had been close.
Very close....

Three cheers for the agents of the Crown (and Bert, of course).

Great success! Hopefully Dr. Jarse is not able to get away from the place he is destined to end up, in straight jacket, I presume. :D

Phew! Got away with that one lol. Have to say the evil doc's serum needs a good deal of refinement - luckily the Thames Valley Division, aided by the two agents from Threshold,  got to him before he had time to advance his plans for world domination.

In truth Mason had hound's luck with his zombie injections. Killing 4 was just tragically unfortunate! (not to say a relief for me, and not a little amusing - grin well hidden behind stiff upper lip of gentlemanly indifference for form's sake ;)). I would say I felt sorry for the fella, but had Mason successfully turned one of his drooling minions into a blasphemous contruct it was likely game over for me! The script of Aliens springs to mind - "We can't afford to let just one of those things in here!". As it was though, he was deeply unlucky - all he managed to do was turn one of his wards into a GTi zombie, and couldn't even turn himself into a super-charged undead killing machine at the end. All in all it was a very cinematic game, and as usual I had the exquisite pain of watching Mason roll those injection results! Sooner or later he'll get that six and I'll be lamenting the loss of poor Isaac and his dynamite :o Great game again though - I have the luxury of saying that in the light of victory. 4 out of 6 survived thus far - but danger lurks around every corner...

 o_o

I have rode my luck in fine fashion the last few games, so I am intrigued to see what happens in scenario #5 in a fortnight's time.

For king and country once again!

HOORAY! The Forces of Truth, Justice, & Divine Entitlement have TRIUMPHED!...more or less!

... the Mad Doc continually tried to make his subjects meaner and faster by injecting them with serum.

That has become a major problem in professional sports over the last decade or so.
