Really ace job on that mini, big man. He looks, to me, to be a former chimney sweep who was fed up with a life of inhaling carcinogens. One morning, while in a boiler room, he had a vision of Cthulhu and ravens, and he became obsessed with both, believing that the cultivation of crows would darken the world in preparation for the Great Old One's return.

Or something like that.

In any event, great work, brother.

Thanks, superflytnt!
Something like that, indeed!
 ;)

Crowman looks excellent.  Great colours  :-*

Thanks, D@rth J@ymZ!
Your work in the LPL this year has been most inspiring.
Those Cultists are simply the most imaginative that I have ever seen.
 :D

Here is a view of the Evil Fiend with a couple of his creations.

Lovely family portrait, eh?

Constance reminds me of the tranny in the film 'Without a Clue', that great Sherlock Holmes spoof starring Michael Caine and Ben Kingsley  :D. (Also featured a young Lysette Anthony in her prime in quite a revealing capacity....but as this is a gentleman's forum, let's leave it there! :P)

The crowman and 'crow-nies' are looking great, mate. I trust one of the other teams will make his aquaintance before me as I am off busy battling the evil Dr Hugh Jarse and his undead underlings. (I'm watching season 2 of The Walking Dead just at the mo - so I'm looking forward to blatting more 'walkers' when we play next week :)).

PS - I think you've done a better job of painting the Crow Man than Foundry did of painting Bill! ;)

As long as they don't hail from East Anglia* - I've heard they like to 'pump kin' round that way...**

* Swap that for the deep south for our US cousins

** Profound apologies for trading on a common - and I am sure totally without foundation - cruel, comedy myth about the residesnts of this Eastern English county. It was a shameful, cheap dig and I apologise for any hurt the observation may have caused by inference. Next time anyone hailing from East Anglia is in I will happily 'give them six'...

These really are superb, Mr Mason. Looking forward to facing them - although maybe not, depending on how vicious they are!

It's a long way off, but Halloween falls on a Thursday this year Mason - our traditional gaming day. If your presence in not required at the museum I think it would be rude not to have a Halloween special! ;) Maybe we could finally have that multi-player game after all?  8) I'd offer to make punkin pie, but having eaten said comestible I wouldn't recommend it! Maybe I am missing something here, dear US readers, but the one I tried was foul beyond belief! :? This from a nation who deep fry Mars Bars and have a liking for eating offal, I know...

But I digress! Good work on the crow man* and his frankly rather bizarre minions. I have a yen to do me some pumpkin carvin'...

The Family Portrait is charming in a disturbing sort of way..."Mum was right; Dad did find us in the pumpkin patch." You did a FINE piece of brushwork on the seedy looking Lads. VERY WELL DONE!

I know about the CD ones, which are very nice indeed.
In fact I was all set to buy those when these fell into my lap.

I have a fair few of these now, including a 'Construct' variant, so am happy with the 'family' as it is.

You are quite safe on that score, one of the other teams can play with the Crowman while you are 'busy'.

She certainly does, and someone on here, Captain Blood, I think, painted a great version of 'her'.

You should not find these disturbing, considering what you find in your Man Cave every day!

Yes, Bertie is a VERY naughty boy!

One of the other players in the group will have to volunteer to face them in order to demonstrate their abilities, I think....hint, hint, chaps.

Great jack-o-lanterns there Mason.  I have the exact same group on my painting table awaiting some post-LPL paint for use as a Blasphemous Construct and zombies as well.  :D
Now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb...

I keep saying great minds think alike.... ;)
Look forward to seeing your versions.
After seeing your LPL Cultists, the bar is certainly high.

I keep forgetting to post up the details for Scenario #4 of This Green and Unpleasant Land, so here goes...

...................................

Scenario #4: Capture the Madman!

Scenario #4 is exactly the same as the Quest Scenario; Specimen Collection, with the only differences being as follows:
.
It does not cost the Threshold player any Map Pieces to play.

Requirements: This Scenario can only be played once the Threshold player has played and Won Scenario #3

Lurkers: The Threshold player must Capture the Mad Scientist (Dr Jarse).
The Lurker player receives this model at no BP cost. The Mad Scientist has the standard profile of its type. Any modifications made to the profile or equipment must be paid for out of the Lurker player's BP allocation.

Only Zombies (of any type, including dogs and skill upgrades), Giant Vermin and Maniacs may be used. At least half of the available BP (rounded down) must be spent on Zombies (of any type).

Treasure: The Threshold player does not gain any of the standard Treasure bonuses at the end of the scenario if he wins.
Having captured the Mad Scientist alive is reward enough!

...............................

During our game an interesting circumstance came up where the Character, Aubrey, decided to attempt to use the Syringe on the Doctor without having Netted him first.
We played this as the model with the Syringe counting as Unarmed (as he could not attempt to use any weapons in case he or she should accidentally killed the Doctor).

This worked well and made sure that it will be difficult to do in normal circumstances.

I was messing around taking photos of some of my Church scenery the other day ( http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=30667.990 ) and snapped these shots of the Ghoul Clan desecrating the Shrine whila I was at it:

The Ghouls have opened a grave and are begining to feast.
But what else have they disturbed.....

The photos are VERY evocative...a narration without words. When I was checking out your Krappefortt photos, it seemed that something was missing. Scenery without the miniatures is lifeless; & miniatures by themselves lack purpose. When they are paired, the combination is a joy to behold.

Thus endeth the Sermon of the Day...say "Amen".

You are right, those Krappefortt pics DO look weird without any populace... o_o

Anyways, back to the Shrine......

Indeed!
What have they disturbed?
