yep, by now I am actually convinced that Shotgun Bob is a second-hand car merchant.

Isn't that a nice story for a character?
or even an Avatar name   :)

Of course he exists, sir.
He lives in my spare room!
 :D

The last of the vehicles has been finished off.
I did, of course, save my favourite until last....

The Bus!

Shotgun Bob has had his eyes on this for a while.
Not for his showroom, of course, but as a means of transporting the whole Cult about on day trips.
 ;)

It is a Corgi Thornycroft model, available in a whole host of different colours and regional variations.

Thats it for vehicles now, unless I see something that I just have to have, of course...

He's certainly a dealer in second hand lead - high speed delivery gauranteed! And promises life will be cheap for servants of His Majesty...

The thought of that one's made me snort out loud with laughter, Mason! Somehow star alien-worshipping cultists heading off to the seaside for the day for a few pints of best and a 99 is very amusing indeed lol Still, I guess they've all got social lives outside of the cult - they could be amongst us even now; Cecil the accountant - corporate number cruncher by day, but in the long dark watches of the night he's never more at home than under a purple-hued hood with a .22 in one hand and his keenest gutting knife in the other...

 :D

The bus is looking magnificent, mate - it's so come alive from the original model, which looked like a toy, to the magic you've worked on it now so it looks like a bus. Good job. I look forward to taking cover behind it as I desperately rack the slide on my trusty Thompson hoping to clear that jam before the shambling undead horde on the other side stumble round the back of the bus intent on the contents of my brainpan...

Cheers, mate, but I do worry about you when you start writing in that way.
I have visions of you crawling on the floor trying to hide behind a toy bus.... ;)

I guess we all know a few followers of strange cults... ::)

I did say that the bus was the last one but I found another vehicle had been sitting amongst the 'finished' vehicles for some time, completely untouched.

A Romford Brewery truck.

Another Match MoY vehicle.
The last one, for the tme being, as there is no more space on the cabinets for them. I could, of course, add some more when I get some more cabinets....

Oh, and I still have to do the write-up for Scenario #5.... ::)

All of your stuff is inspirational as Hell! I might be stealing the style of your docks in the future so my fishmen will have somewhere to swim!

And I love the cars. Gonna gave to find myself a couple region/period appropriate pieces myself when I finally get started.

Thank you, ImhotepMagi!
If it helps, the WIP of the Docks is here:

As for the cars, mine are mostly Matchbox Models of Yesteryear.

Now, a while ago when you introduced yourself, you told us what packs of figures etc you had acquired. (And a Blue 'Phone Box was mentioned, I believe...)
Has there been any progress?
If so, we would like to see.

Alas, no....the pile of awesomeness is technically an anniversary present, and I am being made to wait until the actual anniversary to receive it (over 2 weeks away! :'(). I will be slapping paint on as soon as humanly possible.

And I will hopefully put that WIP info to good use. It's about time I added some water terrain to my collection anyway. 18 years of gaming and not so much as a pond constructed.

Having recently finished painting all the period vehicles, I thought it would be appropriate to show them all together, as they sit on top of the three cabinets.

Here are all the cars in the line-up.

As you can see, Shotgun Bob's forecourt is full.

I may get some more when I purchase the next two cabinets...
 ;)

I think the "signing in blood" part of the lease agreement is a dead give away...the hood & shot gun might contribute to a certain lack of confidence in purchasing also.
That aside, the collection looks TERRIFIC; tying the addition of more pieces to the purchase of additional display cabinets is a stroke of genius...it is scant wonder you have become my hero.

I don't know about others, but I see the car park horizontally compressed

we compress them horizontally and vertically so they keep proportions, and when you click on them, they pop up and reveal full size.
it is called "thumbnail", but some are uncomfortable with it because it is an anglicism   ;) 8)

another anglicism....
