I happened to visit Foundry yesterday as I was in Nottingham on business. I have to say that theplace looked to be in Chaos and the stock on the shelves was very low. I picked up a couple of packs, one clearly old stock as it was 8 figures on a yellow card and the quality was excellent. Upon getting home I realised that the other pack of obviously more recent manufacture (6 figures and figure photos on the card) all have very pronounced mould lines.

Hmm. I willing to pay premium price, but expect premium quality. I'm not usually a basher of manufacturers, but I have to say I'm disappointed.

I've been trying to get the Askari Characters "Lafayette" for some time.
Anyone with a spare?
Shame really that Foundry has changed the way they do business.
Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...

If no one has any on hand.  My best recommendation is to check ebay on a daily basis and check ebay.com as well as ebay.co.uk I usually find more on co.uk.  Good luck.

Marungu on his way mate; just put him in the post half an hour ago. Sorry for the delay (I said I would send him last week) but work got in the way. Just for my peace of mind do please drop me a line when he gets there safely.

I painted some of the originals pictured in this thread for the adverts on a freelance basis and at one time Foundry gave you a free casting of each miniature you painted for them along with the payment for the paint job but by the time i painted these this policy had stopped and didnt get any of those.
