These are such beautiful lighthearted figures, ones that still have a distinct feel all their own. A far cry from black-primered "COME AN' 'AVE A GO IF YE FINK YER 'ARD ENUFF BOYO" types.

(Not that I mind those, but variety is always welcome ;) )

EDIT: I just saw the game photos of this bunch from Salute and they look lovely on the board, which is also very well made (that tree!) and fit the minis very well.

I love this range, and your painting makes them look amazing!

I like the feel of this little fantasy world, it reminds me slightly of Dark Crystal. Just needs a few more grim baddies in the style of the Skeksis lol.

Can't wait to see more!

Thanks everyone, very kind of you  :D

re: Dark Crystal: yes, they remind me of that too, probably why they became 'must buys' for me before they were even released.

Thanks LeadAsbestos! I pretty much do have the entire line, for what is released- though now that the Dhogu have some more (I had one Dhogu rider before they were released) I'll have to get them- those are the hairy ones someone couldn't remember the name for.  Really fun stuff.

I've had my eye on these minis for a while now too. Your paint job has now made them a definite purchase. Thanks for sharing.

I too will echo the previous posters sentiments.  They are very nice.  Thanks for the inspiration.

While I am very much a fan of the traditional Fantasy themes, this line of miniatures really has me interested.

I have been looking at them for some time now and might just have to finally jump in.

A bit of threadnecromancy… 🧟‍♂️

… but worthwhile I believe. I only recently ran into your work Laughing Ferret but I think anyone currently interested in the World of Twilight would benefit from reading your blog.

Great work on the painting, conversions and narrative rich building of your various projects….. especially your Quar!

For a horrible moment I thought this was going to be about moody vampires. An 11 year resurrection wouldn't normally be a good idea, but it's actually quite handy to have those links up for those interested in The World of Twilight.

I could not agree more. I have spent quite some time trawling the internet for photos, most of the stuff is a bit older. But then I am no longer on Facebook and I dislike using my wife‘s Facebook account. My clearout did allow me to put in my first order from Mike and hopefully at some point I will start adding my own Twilight photos on LAF… with inspiration from Laughing Ferret and others!
