Pricing Question - Handmade Log Fort? - Details
« on: 09 May 2012, 06:33:50 PM »
All,
I now have photos available of the fort.

The dimensions are as follows - 15" wide
    11" deep
     4" high palisade
     6" high blockhouse
    12 x 23" base

At present, I need to finish a couple of uprights for the palisade on the back wall, and the roof for the blockhouse. If you are interested, email me an offer at nnascati@... If you are good at doing roofs, and don't mind doing this one, knock 10% off of your offer.

All,
I have a French and Indian War style log fort or outpost that I built from scratch a few years ago. I no longer game F&IW in 28mm, so it sits idle.  It still needs a couple finishing touches, but then I am putting it up for sale. It is roughly 18 x 24 on a larger base, scaled for 28mm figures. It is entirely handmade, individual logs make up the walls and buildings. It is painted and weathered, the base is terrained with sand and some shrubbery. I'd love to sell it locally (So. Jersey/Phila. ) otherwise I expect shipping would be pricy. What do you all think would be a reasonable price?

For something like that, I'd hate to see it ruined when shipped - how robust is it?  I'd come up with a decent price and try to sell it off at a convention, or locally.  How robust is it?
