We managed to get some playtesting done today. Just a small game with 5 models pr side.

The playing area. Two small patrols from the League of Canlaster and the Prydian Army run into eachother on their recon missions.

The Prydian forces, led by a minor noble of the knight rank.

A Baron fighting for the League of Canlaster leading his men.

The Canlastrians fire some indirect fire from their Moth Multilauncher, hitting two retained troopers, killing non of them but wounding one.

The Prydians target the Canlastrian Baron in the distance and lay down a hail of fire, whiping him out with some armour piercing ammo from their Moth Multilauncher.

The Baron just before he falls lifeless to the ground.

The Canlastrian troopers return the fire and gives the Prydian noble a wound.

While the Canlastrian Moth Multilauncher cuts down two of the Prydian troopers and halfing their unit.
After this point the Prydian noble activated his jump jets to get away from the line of fire and we agreed that the game had ended in a draw.
We had quite some troubles playing with the Moth rules. We both agreed that it was a fun enough game, but the rules are just not very well written and lot of things seemed unclear or strange.
I think there is need for more playtesting before dropping the Moth rules, but I am not convinced that this is going to work out and become a ruleset we will use regularily.
We still love the models and the setting though
