Our group have played Empire of the Dead a few times now, and I assembled my first team for the game.
I'm using the Lycan faction build, but themed not as werewolves, but for Apes.

I did start painting them and have pictures for their first game, and I'll work on getting a battle report for that, but to start I wrote up the fluff and a timeline to explain the background of the faction, since James Clayton, newly made Viscount of Greystoke, as (an almost) were-ape and the other apes and human support staff isn't exactly the same as the Lycan background.

The background is long, so I'll just link it. And here is the picture of the minis of the team before painting began:

Background is here:

I like your take on things
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

That is so awesome! Great idea and inspiration for others that want a variation to the existing factions.

That's a brilliant idea and so much more fitting than werewolves when you think about it!

Who makes the "Alphie the Ape" model?  :)

Hmmmm, let's see now. You did a Gorilla augmented Belgian force for Weird WW2 and now you're doing gorillas for Victorian Gorillas for EotD. I am NOT playing Bunnies and Burrows with you! lol

They did look god on the table even in their partially painted state. I predict they will drive the demand for Night goggles and hunting rifles through the roof.

Looking good and the reference to Nick Lowe (I assume) is appreciated.

Whoa, flash back time!

The miniatures seem to have a lot of potential.

Looking forwards to updates.

Nice idea and great looking pieces.  Could you identify the figure manufactures?  If I missed that, I'm sorry.  Richard
