I was sent to training last week and I am back in training this week, after going home for the weekend.
Of course I brought some minis and paints for my down time hours in the evenings.
I have been trying out some new techniques here and there.
Care to spot the "dip" experiment?
 ;D
They are all in various stages of completion. Most are "mostly" finished.
I will take some individual photos when they are completed.

There's a couple more photos on the blog thingy...

Great looking stuff Aggro, you're taking me back to the good ole days :)

Very nice collection of figures here and well painted. I'm guessing the dip experiment is the central piece. I've not used it myself as I've heard mixed things about it.

Thank you Blackwolf, OLeary and Dr Mathias!
 :D
The dip experiment is not the central piece.
 ;D
Looking at the photos again, its a tough question as the mini isn't very clear in the photo.
I will try to get some better photos of my experiments tomorrow.

Great stuff, aggro.
Loving your usual muted pallette.
 :-*

I think that i may well have to adopt that style for one of my future projects.
It may well suit my old-skool LotR project perfectly.

(I cant spot the 'dipped' either...)

At a guess, is it the back left figure?

With the current Retro-Craze, Memory Lane is getting a LOT of traffic lately. When the Old Guys & Gals look as SPLENDID as your creations, the Old Neighborhood is pleasant to return to. GREAT WORK...keep it coming!

Thanks luidinuovo, Mason ,Constable Bertrand, dijit and DeafNala  ;D
The "dip" question wasn't really fair looking at the photos again.
It was the wizard with the blue robes!
I will try to show some close ups and share some thoughts tonight.

I have always made it a policy to paint what I own before I buy more.
Unfortunately the Retro Craze and evilBay have created quite a lead mountain!
I am starting to feel a a little guilty about all the purchases even though I am generally only spending $1.00 to $2.50 USD per miniature.

What a lovely bunch. I really like the palette and style you use.
