I believe that he is a DC comic villain

Thank you  :D It seems that my education is geekery is severely lacking in several aspects (most notably the aspect of comics).

Yeah I can spot the parallels.

I guess he wears the thigh high boots with the hotpants to distract from a face that looks like a monkeys rear-end.   ;)

I'm about $500 in  o_o
Excited but terrified at the same time. I would start a painting progress thread when they arrive (in six months time) but I imagine there will be a wealth of them popping up at the same time.

$500!?!?!

Surely that isn't just at vampire level?

I'm $155, and I'm waiting to see what additional options there.

Cheers

Vampire, paints and few options...
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

I dunno; I considered the paints for about 2 seconds and then realised that I'd rather have the money to spend on more toys

I'm undecided on the paints. They're pretty cheap, but I'm not certain about the color selections.

I'm slowly trying to move over to Vallejo's games line just because they're very similar to the GW colours that I've been using. So I think I'll leave Reaper's paints alone at this point.

Funny enough I'm planning on swapping Sophie in too.

It's interesting to see that Reaper have went with a PDF book, at their latest goal... I suspect this may slow down the pledges slightly.

I couldn't agree more.  The project is miniatures based and they have a .pdf book as a goal................meh!

I'm also wondering if this was a deliberate move; to slow down sales. Yes they want lots and lots of dosh but by the same token they've maybe realised that they have promised a little too much. *Shrugs* I don't know.

Still regardless it's an excellent deal; and I'm very much looking forward to March.

Sterling; whatcha planning on getting as extras?

Cheers

Maybe they are running out of miniatures they want to convert to the bones line...

For the last few hours though, I can't help but agree - the stretch goals are somewhat disappointing...

At the moment a extra set of Fire it Up, Mythos Monsters and the Clockwork Dragon.  Planning also to trade in the Sophie and pick up a Hydra or two.
