Funny you should mention that. I saw it in my local hobby store just yesterday. At 75cm or so it could work as Pulp scenery.

That was exactly my thought too!
It might be out of scale, but still looks BIG enough, or?

If it wasto scale with 28mm it would have to be over three meters, and therefore quite useless.

Edit: The kit costs about 100 euros. A bit stiff.

I'd still buy it and remove the gondola. Add a slightly larger one and you have a good pulp-zeppelin.

At a hundred Euros?  :? I think I'd commission a mini first.

I'd commission a hobbit, then.

I wonder how big a balloon you need to lift a hobbit.

Hi

Another option is this kit by Revell (which I painted up for air gaming). Its about 30cm long and it would be easy enough to replace the engines and add a 28mm gondola.

That's a nice kit. Probably suited for large Crimson Skies games. But this brute would be really difficult to hide from my wife...
And for anyone who knows Bruce McCall: "Wir fliegen nach Amerika mit dem Zeppelin!"
TANK POLO? God, how our gardener hated that game!
