This week some more limitanei for my SAGA Warband.

This time I went for Late romans by Musketeer Miniatures except the one holding the spear above his head which is from the Age of Arthur Range by Westwind...

Magnificent! Did you paint that damage on the right shield with the wood looking through or is it sculpted?

To my blame I have to admit that the shields are decals by LBM as I don't get the freehands done as I want so the wood is "printed".

Recently I needed some distraction from painting the limitanei so I decided to draw my attention on the scholae palatinae. As they wear the lorica hamata they were easily painted up and much fun to paint.
In terms of SAGA they are counting as hearthguard worth 1pt. for 4 miniatures...
