Well i am sure your still allowed to cast stuff in Alaska?
And for sure mail is still delivered to and from Alaska. :-)
Your friend still do this stuff? And care to share his goodies with the world?

And been loving this project a ton. Don't be stopping any time soon. Or move to Alaska. :-)

Well if you cant find your pipe cutter you can just go the easy route and get that miniaturizer going and empty some real cans.  :-)

It's not that simple, he lives in the Seattle Area, but has to leave his family for months at a time to work in Alaska, so his side sculpting/casting business has been put on hold for the forseeable future. I know, I know..RL interfering with hobby life..a travesty. Airlines nowadays don't allow you to carry things like pressure pots aboard planes.

on the subject of Pipe Cutters- I learned a hard lesson and bought the expensive K&S Engineering pipe cutter, but the cheap, $4 red Taiwan-built cutter is a superior tool to the more expensive K&S tool.

On the bottles, there is an O-Gauge RR company that sells clear plastic bottles as well as a crate for them but I can't seem to remember which one.
