Colors for India soldiers uniforms

I have a India force that I am trying to paint up. What paint colors do people use for the uniforms. From the pictures it looks like a light Kaki.

Any suggestions.

I used Vallejo Beige Brown as a base and highlighted up with Vallejo Pale Sand. Looks like this:

It varied a bit depending on theatre, for example wool on the Western Front (same as the British), khaki drill in Africa, etc.  There is an Osprey on the Indian Army in WWI that is a good starting point for figuring all that out:
