Those are Talos mechs from the Nexus force of the Kryomek game now sold by Scotia Grendel.

Here's a link to their webstore:

Once you've assembled them I'd like some comparison pics, please.

Very cool. I love the 80's Eavy Metal feel to the paint job. It looks awesome.  :-*

I really wanted a similar style for my new old school GW fantasy figs, but its a hard style for me to replicate.

Totally awesome!

Great PJ, reminds me a lot of those golden age  photos in the original RogueTrader rule book. Well done.

Cheers everyone for the feedback, makes it all worthwhile  :D

I've finished the rest of the squad:

Here's a couple of close ups:

I didn't want to spam to many pics so the rest of the detail pics are up on yonder blog:

I also finished up a test paint job for some stealers that I have on the painting table:

Personally I think the paintschemes are too chaotic, but the quality of the paintjob is great and as a unit I think it still works out pretty good.

Quality: A+

Business: C+

Yep, just a LOT of colours going on there, but the brushwork looks simply top notch!  :-*

Very nice. I like the way every models paint scheme seems a little different but they are also tied together as well.

Really wonderful stuff.  :-*

I really like the stealer too!  :-*

Great PJs, but I'm digging that 'stealer. Could use a dozen of those myself.

Cheers everyone, thanks for the C&C :)

After being inspired by the awesome stuff happening in the 28mm Inquisitor scene I thought I'd knock myself up some interesting back-drop type scenery for my most recent sci-fi mini's, shortly after having this idea the universe serendipitously smiled on me by dropping an old printer in my path. So last Friday armed with screwdriver and hammer I set about demolishing my foe and this is what I ended up with:

This was the most fun I've had making scenery and is the biggest single piece of terrain I've ever put together. I think the 'water' could do with some added depth ala clear resin but for now it'll do. I imagine this station to have been long abandoned after a catastrophic failure somewhere in it's past but has since been re-occupied and partially re-built (hence the brick work and roof top work station. For the rust and general look of the station I had a mooch around the galleries on the amazing Opacity urban exploration website:
http://www.opacity.us/

As my wife keeps bugging me to start making things like this on a commission basis I thought I'd get the feelers out here and see if anyone here would pay for something like this and if so how much?

Very Very Nice!!! :-*
Keep it coming, love the Blanche type style to the troops, and the scenery is ingenious! I can almost smell the decay ;)
