Strangely drawn to Back of Beyond ..

And we're back (again).

I keep dipping in and out of this project quicker than bathing on Whitby beach in December.

So, GoK and i have a winter game planned with his RCW. As i have a truly phenomenal painting block at the moment i've farmed out my figures.

And lo and behold they come back painted! Who would have thought it?

20 bandits & 20 infantry painted (plus a few character figs) with a further 20 chinese infantry and 10 regular cavalry in the process of.

Next i'll clean up the Tibetan cavalry plus the Warlord himself (mounted/dismounted) and his Generals.

Then the Support Weapons ...

The lovely building is the work of our Mr Jimbibbly and the awesome Battle Standard from Flags of War - both on LAF of course

The ropier painting of figures is mine.

I should collect the rest of the Trench Brooms on Tues with my Dare to Die and a unit of Regular Chinese Cavalry

It will be nice to have this project finished and start regular gaming with it

I paid a fiver for the 8 x 6 gaming cloth and just threw it over my painting table, books, boxes of figs and misc crap. I'm surprised how well it looks
