Quick Reference Sheet & Editable PDF Log Sheets?
« on: November 02, 2012, 05:12:54 AM »
Has anyone made a more detailed Quick Reference Sheet, that would include an outline of the steps of Ranged & Close Combat, +/- for combat, etc?  I know the core book has one, but that's just the weapons, plus the insanity & injury tables.

Also, has anyone made an editable PDF out of the Threshold & Lurker log sheets?

Thanks

With Paris in ruins and London in ember
In times of the future when fears are abating
Don’t try to forget them, the Daleks are waiting
Quietly planning and scheming and hating…

There's partly what you want here (above) and if I had Acrobat's full version, I could define fields for the PDF's but at present these aren't editable.

I had asked for input on the quick reference, but I was met mostly with silence and disinterest, so I stopped work on it. It suits my purposes quite well.

I was considering putting spell lists on the back along with the combat value tables, but as I said, I ended work on it.

I am currently on a Strange Aeons hiatus but when I start playing again I will surely take a look at your roster log sheets  8)

When you do, if you need anything on the quick reference, just let me know.

Plough on ahead with the quick ref sheets superflynt and/or Black Cavalier. They would be much appreciated. I was looking at your rosters yesterday actually superflynt.  One with space for two more agents would be appreciated. My last list had a character and 5 agents.

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

Quite honestly, the cards that a gent made are the best option for setting up lists, in my humble opinion. They come 4 to a sheet...I can't recall the thread...but they're brilliant. I tossed the whole idea of ever using lists again after I started using those cards, it made it much more of a miniatures game closer to Heroscape or Dungeons and Dragons from a "look" perspective than a roleplaying game.

That's just my 2 cents.

That said, I had considered making one sheet with the character only, the weapons table and insanity table, and the party inventory (spells, map bits, wins/losses) and then have the next page only agents, and the third page only civilians, animals, and Special Agents.

I may just sod it all off and do an Excel sheet.

Those cards sound interesting, you might remember that I made a bunch of equipment reference cards for Strange Aeons (and if Uncle Mike will finally get around to upload them, everyone can use them, hint hint!), and I also like to just pick pre-made options instead of making each list from the ground up. Do you have any more information about these cards?

Bookmarked, thanks. I wonder why I haven't heard of these before. I will definitely use them next time I play. I'll probably laminate them and write with water-soluble pens.. or just print on normal white paper.

I thought of using Chinagraph pencils on laminated surfaces...but in the end I just printed up a bunch and hoped for the best. Lucky for me....they're all dead. :)
