Pulp Girl vs. The Gunrunners
« on: November 30, 2012, 03:11:07 AM »
Tonight we played scenario #3, Dangerous Delivery. I rolled for the six plot points and got:
Ivory Talisman: An ancient talisman used by natives. It could be valuable or maybe just a pretty trinket.
Jeweled Disk: Used by the natives in religious rituals, most involving human sacrifice.
Booby-Trapped Munitions: The ammunition to the rifles being delivered. They won’t be usable without them.
Injured Guard: A poor guard who was trying to stop the smuggling ring.
Camouflaged Rifles: The main delivery for the tribes of the island. There’s no telling what evil they could cause with these modern rifles.

We decided the rifles would be the major plot point as the gun smugglers tried to get across the border. The background for this scenario had Pulp Girl retrieving a tip about the gunrunners from an eccentric millionaire. The gunrunners are trying to arm the native tribes with modern rifles and this evil had to be stopped. Dad and I rolled on the Scenario Events chart. One of the caravan guards fell behind and won’t be deployed until turn 2. I rolled for my Network of Supporters and picked up Rumors and Gossip and a Friendly Local.

In the picture below, I deployed Pulp Girl’s league around the native village knowing that the gunrunners would have to come this way.

I moved my characters out to meet the caravan.
