These fellas look really cool.
Very nice basing too, they blend together really well.
 :-*

Any chance of a shot of the whole army together?
 :D

Thanks Mason,

I think right now I have 1 full unit of goblins left, 1 unit to get another 9 reinforcements,  a goblin riding a troll, 2 orc units, and a unit of westwind goblins I'm using as hobgoblins. Then It'll be on to a dwarf army from Black tree design I've had for ages.

What Mason said! That army pic is incredible, 9 units! I wish I could have the discipline to paint an army like that, I have been painting an Undead army for close to 15 years and its still smaller than yours. As for the command minis, I really like the orange, you painted it really well. I really like those shields as well, they are sculpted (and painted) really well. I would never have thought of painting the goblin army these colours but you really pulled it off; I really like your painting style.

Cheers
 Damien

Thanks Damien. I try and break it up by painting one off figures between units just to give me something else to do. I do like the orange triad from reaper. When I started the army I wasn't really sure what colors I wanted other then the goblins being blue, so I got lucky that it came together so well.
I did an elf army a few years back with the orange color along with yellow

That is a very cool sculpt! It must have been a blast to paint, I like the contrast in colours, the red contrasts well with the blue and green. Except for the vivid red, you colours are muted, you have an interesting painting style and I like it.

Keep posting these awesome minis,
 Damien

And btw, not to forget the very cool elf army, get us some close ups of those units, especially the cavalry (are they all BTD as well?).

It was a lot of fun to paint.

I do tend for the most part paint in muted colors but do try to throw a splash of color in.

Will do on the Elves, probably make it a separate thread. They're from Ral Partha and if I remember right Chris Fitzpatrick sculpted them. Ral Partha Europe has all of the sculpts still, Iron Winds only has a few.

The Pointy Eared Ones look TERRIFIC in a stylish, Elfin sort of way. The Troll & Goblin duo is FANTASTIC; I love West Winds stuff & you did a FINE bit of brushwork bringing them to life. GREAT WORK ALL AROUND!

I thought they were from Ral Partha! I remember those, they were really well sculpted. Post them up when ever you get the chance.

So I had this unit of 18 nightling goblins
]
I felt that they should be bulked up to 30, here are the additional 12

and a new unit shot of all 30
