Got my copy yesterday & it looks like a whole mess of fun  :D

The only criticism I have is that you've now distracted me from all my other unfinished projects that I promised myself I'd complete before starting something else new  lol

Keep up the awesome work guys, can't wait to see what other projects you have coming up.
...and what fresh new hell is this?

"My only nitpick is the vanilla rules for shooting. I like some diversity in guns, but I can also understand why the choice was made not to take this route."

At first glance this was my thinking as well, once you play the game a bit this was settled. The combination of dice type and number of dice, and perks fixed it. (for me at least) ........

The lack of weapon modifiers can take a little getting used to, but in the tradition of the best pulp adventures it's the ability of the hero that wins the day not the calibre of the firearms.

However, you could use an extreme peril to represent a lone sniper and I have been using the burst rules for sub-machine guns.

Sounds good....and my first impression was solely based on reading the rules and not gameplay (so purely theoretical). So your input sounds good!
We're probably playing the game at a con here in Holland in February...a good time to test the rules in a daring campaign.

As an established curmudgeon....I have to say that the fun AARs convinced me to give this a try.  So far, two readings of the rules have pretty much conviced me that I will like the game and I am really looking forward to playing this with my wife and grandkids.

I wrote review (in Dutch) on a Dutch forum...don't think many of you can read it, but it's all positive :)

The forum is woth a look, even if just for a collection of sample groups and characters.

We'll I've shamelessly gone with public opinion and ordered a copy, I'll have a read through and I may chuck some dice about to try the rules out.

Historically we've always done more Narrative games and I've essentially GM'd done scenario design etc so it would be nice to play something where I can get a little more involved.

Can't wait to read through them.

Received, and skimmed through. I like what I see at first glance, although I haven't had a chance to read it fully or (obviously!) playtest it.

I have a big Russian Civil War convention game to get prepped for early Feb, then I'll sit down and do Pulp Alley justice. Expect a review on my blog too!
