« on: January 13, 2013, 08:28:22 PM »

Blackwolf and Andym will proceed to the final round from group 1, JOHNNYTODD and Zafarelli from group 2. Congratulations!

First of all, thank you everyone for participating. There is not one build I would not have been glad to have.

Thanks you all for voting! Make sure you vote in the final round.

Thanks to Hammers and Overlord for organising this competition.
It has been great to follow and the standards of all the entries has been amazing.

Serious inspiration from everyone!

I don't get, only 100 voters out of 3650 members.
Surely, the outstanding quality of these pieces deserves more attention and recognition ?

Even LPL rounds often only get 300-400 voters, and it's a much larger, older and better-known contest than Build Something.

Those of us who're interested voted, at least! Congratulations to all the participants... I might need to flip a coin in that final round, though, all four entries are amazing.

A great result - well worth it for all four entries - it is going to be even harder in the final round.

I agree with the comments above - that 100 votes seams a little low!

Well, that's because we don't encourage the riffraff to vote. Overlord and I were in full agreement we *only* wanted the best class of voters, LAFers with exquisite taste, impeccable manner and a heightened appreciation of the true artistes;)

You could also admit that you forgot to send an e-mail to all members concerning the competition ;)
But, I do like your take on the matter, and I prefer it more than any other reason :D

Flattery will get you... well, everywhere it seems.

Good work on the polling, Hammers and Overlord!

Heh, you know it is a good-natured competition when you look at the results and say "Who voted for me over that? Are they insane?"

Well done, everyone.
