Oh wow, I'm really in for it now, by the looks of it!! :o

Great work, all of you guys! This is going to be a very tough competition (and choice...)  8)

More tough choices...  :o

@ Daeothar...is it my imagination, or is that a dead Star Trek security guard I can spy? Those red shirts are fatal  ;)

Such good stuff:
Vanvlak: A really interesting concept, and that dung heap looks like it smells revolting!
Deothar: The care and attention to detail that went into this build  was obvious from your WIP thread, and the same clearly went into your paint job. I for one would never have the patience. Really impressive.
Tomrommel1: The concept of jungle tracks where you can swap in or out various fiendishly devised booby traps is really clever (and well done) and opens up some exciting gameplay options. And that bamboo looks really good too.
Mick in Switzerland: The sheer scale is impressive on this one, as is the hillside concept. It is really effective the way the jungle at the base of the hill gives way to a cratered moonscape at the summit. Despite the obvious artillery support available I don't think it is going to be easy to winkle Charlie out of that position!
Dolmot: A simple concept executed extremely effectively. They are really pretty pieces that will enhance any table and can be used in any time period.
Pistolpete: Those are some very imposing cliffs! And the rope bridge looks suitably rickety. Don't try and cross while that leather jacketed archaeologist in your photo is waving his machete!
Well done all!

Wide variety of approaches and some really cool builds.

That Vietnam board is similar to my inclined board, really interesting to see that develop- really like the trees.

The attention to detail on that collapsed overpass is just great!
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

...is it my imagination, or is that a dead Star Trek security guard I can spy?

You're not wrong... lol

It's basically being true to my word after agreeing to this in my build thread:

Still think you should have a red shirt poking out the rubble  :D

Although I've retconned his presence there as a trekkie who took his mother's Buick down a wrong exit, coming home from a convention, and found himself smack in the middle of a Gaslands deathrace. With predictable results, obviously. And no; the red shirt did him no favors either... :D

Brilliant chaps! Such a wealth of well executed ideas.

Vanvlak- nice up cycling. That will be useful in so many games.

Daeothar- what can I say. Pure class! :-* I always love models where you are rewarded(as the viewer) by discovering more and more details everytime I look.

Tomrommel1- lovely veg. I know its for Vietnam, but that would make a good fantasy maze too.

Mick in Switzerland- gorgeous board. What else can I say, but I'd love a game on that! Great concept!

Dolmot- that embugerance cam out great. Your ground work is spot on! :-*

Pistolpete- those cliffs are going to make amazing backgrounds for all sorts of games! :-*

Good luck everyone!
