The brickwork I saw in the Edinburgh tenement was essentially brick insulation I suppose, much like nogging in timber buildings. To be fair to Sangennaru he's done a bloody good job of creating a building that will look great on the tabletop without most people realising that the brickwork might not be quite right!  lol Good eye though David!

Buildings are lovely but I really can't start doing WW2 in ANOTHER scale! Your buildings do make it tempting though!

Oh, so lovely. Pity these aren't 20mm...
Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

well, i'm making both in 28 and 15mm... that's not everything but still.... :)

as above. :D

some news: i casted the first pieces: it took me a while because i had tofind a proper technique for proper plaster-casting with 15mm details, and now i have it. Together with a kg of miscasts, sacrificed for the learning.

cheers

this is definitely NOT the end product. I still need to assemble it in floor and, more importantly, add creeks and cracks!

Jack: That is wonderful and perfect for a need of mine AS IT IS.

Any chance of making a couple of casts in 28mm scale before you add damage to it?
 :)

well, this models are for Resina Planet (the 15mm ones), but as soon as i've proceeded with that work i'll come back on the 28mm ones.

The plain casts with no creeks? hum, i should do a mould for the purpose, but it's reasonable. i'm making a second building for 28mm, the one in the sketches, soon or later.

little updates, the second facade is now done, and a "finger" assembly of the onepiece floor

End product from casting point of view then ;)

Love it! Really good work and nice to see all the WIP rather than just an end product. Really makes you appreciate how much work goes into it
