Cant go wrong with this.  :D
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Thanks to Dan Carlin I am a big fan of the Punic Wars. I wouldn't mind using these to do a skirmish project set in Spain or North Italy where foraging parties clash etc.

It has to be said, though, that these are at quite an early stage and only a few models so far, too. Wouldn't hold my breath – even if there's already a shop system on their site. ;)
Anyway, from first contact they are nice and responsive people, I wish them luck!

Good news indeed! These velites look really good. I´m really looking forward to see Hastati, Principes and Triarii :)

As far as I know Victrix was also preparing figures for this period.

I believe they were. Sure I saw some 3-ups on their stand at Salute last year.

The ones pictured above do look rather good though (although the kneecaps look a bit suspect!)

Presume, these are the Romans you're looking for. ;)

Golly, plastics left right and centre!  I like the look of the Agema velites, especially the shield with attached javelins.

I like the look of these - I wonder how they' 'll look next to the excellent Crusader Romans?

I wonder for some time now what the Victrix guys are doing, the pic from Salute, are there some more to be found?

Hopefully the 2 manufacturers will do different troop types to complement each other. That would be very helpful for us collectors and gamers I think ;)

cheers Thomas
