Not at all mate, I think you'll like them. If you could get your head around Leviathan, you'll have no issues. :)

I am of very mixed feelings about this campaign. On one hand, I am really happy to see Warzone being brought back in an intelligent and informed manner. I wish nothing but success to those involved and long life to the Mutant Chronicles universe!

On the other hand, I spent years tracking down various models (usually hard to find and OOP) to bulk up my factions. I have huge numbers of figures from both the first and second editions for Imperial, Bauhaus, Capitol, Brotherhood, and the Dark Legion (with a little Cybertronic thrown in), and most of them are painted. They are some my favorite figures in my collection, and I would not dream of selling them off or replacing them. In fact, I proxy them into other games all the time just for more excuses to use them.

So while I do really like many of the sculpts I am seeing, I have not seen anything that would make me feel different about my collection. At some point, I would not mind picking up some of those very awesome Cybertronic infantry sculpts. Other than that, I realize I am not really the target market for this, and that is okay. I think I will sit back and enjoy the rest of you enjoying the rebirth of one of my favorite gaming universes!!  :D :D :D :D

On another note, I read through the new rules. While I am sure a play through would make a difference, but I was not terribly excited by the rules for using the cards. It could be an interesting meta-game element (which I absolutely do not mind), but I am afraid I did not see a "wow" element that would make newcomers want to play this system. I am looking forward to watching the video, as I am hoping that will change my mind about the cards. Then again, I have not played a Mutant Chronicles-themed game with an official Warzone ruleset for years. I mostly use my own homebrew.

Hi!

Just watched the video of the gameplay which gave a decent idea of how it plays but I would dearly love to see some actual painted figures! I suspect that that will be the deciding factor for many who are thinking of backing the kickstarter!

At present its all a tad nebulous!

I wonder if this will destroy 40k like it did the first time...I hope so, I'm sick of it.

I am in it just for the miniatures. I have pledged for a rule-book too... but that will be reading material and for information.

There are some cracking renders coming through for Warzone and from what I have seen, they have transferred well to miniature form.

I am excited to see a more sensible approach to the miniatures but can really understand that people who have collected previous versions of Warzone miniatures will be in a bit of a quandary.

Things are progressing nicely :)

Lol, however you may feel, that is not the aim at all! :)
Prodos Games is a dignified company that respects it's peers as equals.

However, if it happens to be successful, I'm sure the guys will not complain!!!

Painted figs coming soon as soon as I get my missus to take a photo or two (which can be bloody hard work, but it's free!).

Cheers
Rob

If you guys need help getting paint on the miniatures, a lot of us are willing to help out I think ;).
Now I got my pulp project finished...it's time to paint a Razide (and necromutants, and legionaries, and...)

Make sure the paint jobs are of highest quality. I have seen a few games receive bad reviews and impressions because the figures had amateurish paint jobs.

finally we have a better view of the Bauhaus fellas:

Pretty like them. Probably they will be my choice :)
Still think that this campaign could raise higher amount if only they prepared more designs before startink the KS. I think a lot of people are holding over to see something more. :( BTW, that's enough hindsight. So, let's see what's next :)
I am really waiting to see Tatsumoto finished!  :P

A question aside: there will be rules to play a Doomtrooper force?

Hmm... Not too keen on the running pose legs or the shoulder pads...

The rest however is looking good. Would it be possible to produce the shoulder pads as separate pieces so folks can choose how to fasten them on?

Also is the Vulcan going to have separate cockpit options so we can have an open tipped one?

I am not sure which one I will choose... but I am looking forward to having the chance to chop and change :)

the bauhaus troopers are nice, especially with the full backpack and all. One of my favorites for now (with brotherhood).
