So the Salute releases are finally finished and being a sculptor not a photographer I beg forgiveness for these awful snapshots...

Hi Soapy,

Mate they are super figures

I'll make sure my group is aware of this.

Can you do a favour please and have some sort of size chart next to them before someone asks.

Helen
Best wishes,

I'll repost pics later with a scale guide but to give you an idea they are the same size as GWM stuff.

Cheers for the advice.

Nice looking sculpts

One way to get around a short focal length or the lack of a good macro setting is to take the photos at a slight distance but at a higher resolution and then crop then down to just the miniature.

I had to do that a lot with my old camera.

Hey Soaps,

Are you doing the French for Gallipoli as well?

Am I right in thinking these are from the new Gripping Beast range? Lovely dynamic poses.

Personally not what I'm after right now. Can't wait to see what else is planned, though.

Eventually, yes. In fact I'm busy sorting through some reference for hats amongst the Frenchies. There is an interesting shot of a FFL chap in a 'pith helmet' and I'm looking to see how common this was 'coz I really fancy doing a load of them, along with the regular French too.

VERY nice.  I especially like the Ottomans, although the sword-bearing officer's pistol holster looks somewhat small.

The figures look great!  I hope that they will fit in with all the Brigade Games Miniatures that I have in the period.  They look like they will add a lot of color and character if they are in scale.

Soapy, will you be doing HMG teams to compliment the Turk and Anzac packs?

I've just read "The Ship That Changed the World", an account of the Goeben & Bresslau.

Any chance of a German/Turkish naval landing party ?
