Hi Folks!

If you love 28mm Victorian Gothic Horror/Steampunk, you will love what we have lined up this year.

First up, Empire of the Dead - Requiem, our ambitious miniatures project to expand Empire of the Dead.

If we reach our goals via Kickstarter;

- we are aiming to add to Empire of the Dead with over 80 cracking new models.

- we will add 12 ingenious new Victorian machines, carriages, steam powered walkers and a Time Machine.

- you will discover a superb new faction, the first of many, and a cornucopia of new Victorian characters and monsters, to populate your darkly gothic Victorian world.

- there will be a great opportunity to get in early and snap up our generous, Early Bird Specials!

Our Empire of the Dead - Requiem Kickstarter will go live this week -Thursday 14th February.

West Wind showed some of the Kickstarter minis (click for a bigger picture):

Both sets of Bobbies are nice... and Order of the Dragon is awesome!
But I wonder why are they preparing new minis for Sherlock and Watson...

You can never have too many Holmes's.  lol With the number of them available from different sources, you could build an EotD faction of Holmes & Watson impersonators. Could be a cool idea actually.

I got that preview message too, was going to wait until the KS page comes up tomorrow, very exciting - it's a huge miniatures release that really fills many gaps (such as models with steampunk weapons, weird contraptions and new factions)  :)

I still hope someday to field a regiment for English Civil War made up only of Cromwell models. I have eight different versions of him now - four more will get me to twelve, and then I can purchase a second one of each for a full regiment of 24 figures, all Oliver Cromwell.

While I love the game and their models I'm uncertain I'll get in on this until I've had a close look. I have the original 5 box sets plus the package of models they had from the Gothic Horror range that was meant to go along with their quick-start scenario. We've only played a few games, so my $400 (after shipping and getting dinged for import fees from UPS) hasn't really paid back yet.

One thing I will say is that I love the fact that most of the existing models are one-piece. After spending hours on Carnevale stuff last night, I'm really starting to appreciate well done single-mold figures!

 lol

There's no shortage of policemen either, what with these, Northstars new Bobbies together with Westwinds earlier policemen Whitechapel will have more officers on the beat than ever before. ;)

That's just weird!  lol For some reason this has highly amused me and I chuckle to myself everytime I read it. 'Cromwell's Cromwells'.  lol

I can see myself buying in but if they are going to keep making Holmes & Watson I would rather they make a different version, something more akin to the recent movies just for the sake of variety.
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.
