There is actually precedent for that, take a look at "Gotham by Gaslight"

I'm more tempted to get in on this one. I'll have to keep watching.

That's a little niche mini that we've been needing forever!!!! Even if you just went the generic "masked victorian crimefighter route"...*sigh* someday...
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

I decided EotD would be my first Kickstarter pledge. The models look nice and the PDF rulebook is cheap enough that I went in at the £30 level + rules, but might upgrade later to get some of the new minis to go with the Gentlemen's Club starter set I'm getting. The coppers especially look lovely, as do the steampunk silliness like the steam cannon or the perambulator boots.

BTW, does anyone happen to know how well the figures scale with Foundry's Victorian Africa stuff? I have some "European explorers" type of miniatures that might pass muster as travel-inclined Gentlemen or just as random bystanders.

I would like to pledge but this month my wargaming budget is gone. As it is a project which isn't finished yet I have some questions about it (and kickstarter in general).

- when ido you actually pay: the moment you pledge or when the kickstarter date ended?
- is payment done by creditcard?

The original Victorian Batman.

I would love to see this figure.

Wasn't Spring-Heeled Jack a villainous bogeyman type myth though, hardly very "Batman" LoL

After the kickstarter is over, and yes, by creditcard.

The line between vigilante to villain is a moving target in some ways, why not the reverse?

Gracias,

I actually made a comment on the Kickstarter site re how they should do some Victorian super heroes, and it never got posted :( Either I somehow screwed up saving the post (unlikely), or someone expurgated the comment. I guess this is NOT a popular suggestion with Andy and the crew...

I'd be really surprised if anyone removed something on purpose that was as inoffensive as that. If you'd said "let's see a f@%#ing Victorian Batman you f@#%ing &u&*s!" then maybe.  :D

I'm not sure they'd delete a comment they didn't like...

I should also say that despite my earlier grumbling about the late appearance of stretch goals I am pretty impressed with the offers on this. It strikes my naive Kickstarter self as being well run. I also didn't realise the artwork was Andy's own stuff. It's bloody good!
