Building Calamity - Aetherworks Brick Building Finished!

Aetherworks is a line of MDF laser cut buildings out of Australia. I only have the one because the shipping is so expensive. However, they do have a deal on international shipping now where they will include  a post office kit if your order goes over a certain amount. I really like these kits, good instructions and this one went together really quick. Only the exterior is finished at this point, but that's good enough for the table. I'm still contemplating the interior which has to include at least one and maybe two jail cells. Unlike the Battle Flag Sheriff's office which comes complete with cells this is something I'll have to build from scratch, probably a run to Caboose Hobbies is in order to check out potential materials. I may go back and do more to pick out the brickwork as well. The darker mortar lines are fine but I probably should highlight the bricks to make them stand out more.

I initially though 'that doesn't look like a calamity at all, I think you've made good job of it.' before realising that Calamity was the name of the town!

Mdf stuff really is well suited to Old West set ups, the sets just seem to keep getting better. Nice work on it.

Very nice job - shame Aetherworks is such a pain to ship here.

I agree, I really like their stuff. They are actively trying to find a solution to the shipping issues.
