Plasticville works for 20mm too....and sometimes even better

(As I made a mix of modern and WW2 it seemed to me most appropriate to move this to this section of the board....it's more like a info-mercial)

Plasticville. Yes, 28mm....or so they want you to believe.

The Plasticville Hangar, the old one (second hand, 8 dollars):


...and the new one (new in box, 4 dollars (no longer has "Plasticville Airport" stamped on the front and on the roof))


(It always annoyed me to no end to see 28mm figs, on bases, standing inside that hanger and being as tall as the lowest windows, making the building look veeery small. And their planes never fitted inside. Well, to prove my point....these are made for 20mm (after a small adaptation to both doors)

Can be found on Ebay between 10-30 dollars (excluding shipping) (and I got extremely lucky after being outbid for almost a year over and over again (my max for the hangar is $15 as the shipping is $15-25) and I'd say get a newer one as it doenst have the embossed Plasticville markings you really have to remove.

The Plasticville Trainstation (secondhand, 4 dollars)

With a 28mm and a 20mm.....works both ways. Eagle by Scotia (see top of page) magnetised for easy removal.


And with some early and late war stuff next to a resin building for size.

Makes for a great Part Office building. Or without the eagle something that can be found in most major cities.

...and now I take my time to issue a WARNING. Not everything from Plasticville is suited for 20mm. Most is 28mm-ish, just a tad cartoonish at times. But these were my gamble and it paid off as they fit handsomely. Now I need 2 more hangars.....

Has anyone got or seen the Plasticville town hall, if so how does that scale with 28mm:

I have one and it works OK. as already said it is a small town building for 28mm or a large building for 20mm.
