Small update with more to come in the next few months :)  I re-based the Vikings all of them now on either 120mm frontage bases or two 60mm frontage bases - very happy with the outcome :)

here is the angry host here !

Also here is the latest Viking unit - working on some Hiberno Norse now as well

And then the beginning of the next army .... Saxons !

When you get a moment come and check out the blog - some battle reports will be posted in the next few days :)  http://wolftemplars.blogspot.com.au/2014/04/slight-absence-and-final-battle-report.html

Cheers

120mm wide bases... and what is the depth of the bases? Also, is that size of bases for a particular rules system?

Very nice work anyhow! :-*

Hi there - depth is 60mm and its for Hail Caesar - we don't go for the 24 figure unit size and just focus on the unit frontage - so that base is a unit - or more roughly 12 figures is a unit - but the way im basing i can reduce a little more and work on theme. I believe this works for Impetus as well  :)

It still gives a good sense of size and scale - even with the reduced number of figures -  there are a heap of shots on my blog of recent games -

Thanks the compliments as well, love the feedback!
