Western figures on the large side of 28mm?
« on: 16 April 2013, 07:20:03 PM »
All,
I have really come to like the 1/48th or so size of figures like Victory Force (WWII) and Northstar (F&IW). I know that Black Scorpian's cowboys are large, but I am wondering which other manufacturers make similar sized figures which are compatible with each other.

Reaper Miniatures' cowboys in either their Chronoscope or Savage Worlds lines should fit for you.

Black Scorpion are definitely the biggest though. Check out this post on my blog, there are a number of photos with different manufacturer's minis next to each other. There are two or three with a Reaper mini right next to a Black Scorpion Mini. Although Black Scorpion are the largest I think they will still be a little small for 1/48, you might look at 40mm and see how that stands up to 1/48.
