Hello! Who have a book "Central Africa Tribal and Colonial Armies in the Congo, Gabon, Rwanda, Burundi, Northern Rhodesia and Nyasaland, 1800 to 1900" by Chris Peers? I have the scans of figures from this book, but haven't all discription.
I need discription of next figures: 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, 24, 27, 28, 31, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 50, 51, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 78, 79, 80, 81, 85, 86, 87, 89, 90, 91, 92, 94.
If you can, send me please full discription. If you can't - short discription.
And I need figuries with discription from 110 to 120. Photo or scan - it's no matter.
I hope for your help!

Well, I don't.

Did you try Google (or your favorite search tool)  with some of the key words?  It's amazing how many people ignore copyright in their posts.  No, I am not "pure" on that subject myself... just saying I find all kinds of IP scanned and placed on the web.

Gracias,

Glenn

Books by Foundry not available in the Google.
I though only the name of the soldiers themselves.

Hi, I have that book but that is a lot of typing.  I'd rather just copy it and mail it to you. C'ya, Charles

If that is their Armies of East Africa book, I don't have a copy, either, and they've reached silly prices on the secondhand market. I've asked the "new" Foundry about another print run, but none was planned for the time being. Still, if enough people were to ask...

Well I, for one, think it stinks that you have stolen the pictures from somewhere, and now want our help in stealing the text.  Buy the damn book, as I have.

The British in India is another superb Foundry book that's out of print and fetching ridiculous prices on the second hand market. Reprinting these titles is purely down to economics, I believe : a new print run probably won't be cheap and Marcus at Foundry needs to be reasonably certain he will recoup his costs. Twenty or thirty people asking for a new print run on the net is sufficient to generate a certain amount of buzz, but not necessarily enough to make the move economically viable.

High prices may be indicative of relatively large, unfulfilled demand and/or of relative scarcity...

Oops! I was thinking of their East Africa book. Apologies for any confusion...

Keep an eye on the Fouundry website, I've bouught 2 books at about 50% off with their sale prices, both books related to Africa!  It depends on your patience level.

I have, too, but this book is out-of-print, and there would not seem to be any stock left at the Foundry.
