New Project, a city for swashbuckling
« on: April 19, 2013, 03:03:39 AM »
Just some work in progress shots on a church for some upcoming swashbuckling games. I wanted something large enough to allow for interior movement but still fit on the table so the base building is 7" x 15".  I won't do the bell tower until the rest of is finished.

Excellent building.  Did you carve the portals and steps from the foam or did you add them as separate pieces and glue them?

The entrance and front pillars are added on - the whole thing is built with 1/2" pink foam and 1/8" craft foam.

What a great start. This looks very promising. Can't wait to see how this evolves with colours and all. I love some "bigger" buildings.

Heldrak, the whole thing is for 28mm - the nun is a Reaper fig, the purple one is Brigade's Milady, and the swordsman is from Tercio Creativo.

Next month we'll have a four person game day where we intend to play 1650, Song of Blades, Strange Aeons, Savage Worlds, Pike and Shot and Zombies, and a home brew set called Morion Wars. After that we'll see what everyone likes, but as this group will only be meeting a few times per year we'll probably do multiple games each time we meet up.
