IHMN Resources
« on: May 03, 2013, 06:48:28 PM »
Given there are so many IHMN threads abounding at the moment I thought I'd stick another one in here! If someone wants to move it into another thread to save space though, feel free  :D

Anyway, by way of a resource/book recommendation, Haswell Miller's 'Vanished Armies' (edited by Mollo) is really a lovely little book. Focused on the uniforms of European nations from between 1908-1914, so a bit later than IHMN is set, but since we're not talking real-world here anyway,  it's jolly useful for uniform ideas and so forth for those like me who have companies or figures in mind with some regular military elements. Especially so what with having various sketches of less depicted forces too, such as Dutch, Belgian, Swedish etc.

What a splendid idea my good man!

I shall have a dig through my resources folders and see what I can contribute to this.
