That is so cool! I would stay with the MG instead of the t-26 IMHO. A must buy.

I like both of the them. The T-26 gives it the "put together" feel that we expect of some of the armoured vehicles of the war.

Someone suggested this beast might be used in a VBCW layout.

If so, which side would likely use it? --If I knew in advance, I might insert some appropriate markings in the decals set...

Useful data for deciding: built by the Hispano Suiza Madrid division (firm's HQ were at Barcelona, but their military stuff was built in a factory close to Madrid --such was the will of the Army Ministry).

According to some sources, it was designed for competing with Bilbao armoured car for giving the Guardia de Asalto an anti-riot vehicle. Other sources state it didn't, but was offered to the Catalan Generality, or Government.

Whatever the case, at the outbreak of the military rebellion all the existing models (between 5 and 15, depending on sources) were in hands of the Republic. They were seemingly used mostly in the South. Not less than two were captured by the Nationalists and put "under new management". At least one of them was improved with a T-26 turret; the one known was used as a high-command vehicle.

With such a story, in whose VBCW hands might it have fallen?
(OK, anyone's I guess. But asking for some brainstorming anyway)

BUF with a siren mounted on the front fender.
paint it black with a red stripe running down the middle.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

They say that fact is often stranger than fiction. If i hadn't seen that photo i wouldn't have believed it [not having done the research]

I'm a "less is more" kind of guy so i couldn't use one. But lovely work all the same

Now, if you'd only knock up something for 192?/BoB  :)

The Beast could be used by any side of the VBCW, depending on which side traded/sold it to a VBCW faction. Nationalists could sell theirs to BUF or Royalists and Republicans could sell theirs to Communists or "Freedom fighters".
