I am hoping that they will release the BEF as add ons and that you will be able to buy them after the kickstarter ends.  I have pledged for the Martian Overseer and was hoping to eventually add the BEF to the American forces that come with that pledge to make a force to fight the Martians.

I would be interested in seeing their plans for the BEF.

Not wanting to be negative, but that mg monowheel is a 1930s US design.

I had that game, and probably still do... somewhere.  :-*

It was an excellent game but somehow I could never make it work well on my PC.  :'(

We occasionally had problems but it seems to be ok on the new pc (the new pc is about 9 years old - old enough that most of the letters have rubbed off the keyboard, so we don't have "qwerty" we have q----yu--p, second row is just gjk.

That Martian Overseer is amazing and may change my pledge completely.

What do folks think of the price point?

Its looks too cheap :o Not sure how they are going to make it.   Maybe I have just been brainwashed with how expensive Forgeworld resin its.

Not sure on the big chap - at 10 inches tall those legs are going to take a lot of strain.

Not sure on the ironclad either, the blurb mentions fore and aft turrets plus 2 guns midships, but the concept art doesn't tie in.

Have no idea how they will actually come out, though they did mention resin and metal.

The Overseer, at 10 inches, will however, be playable with 28mm models. Include the Dominator at 9 inches and you could have a reasonable 2 x Dominator (2 x $35) and 1 x Overseer (1 x $55) WotWs Martian VSF force for $125 or around 82GBP.

Either way, I'm working my pledge such that I will be able to play the game as published, but with an eye towards having a cross over Martian tripods force for my VSF collection.

Mind you, if the Martians get too irresistible, I'll just go with a straight VSF Martian tripod buy.

I still have no idea what I'm going to get, to be quite honest....  o_o

I am obviously being a bit of a numptie here, but how can you do a 'straight VSF Martian tripod buy'?

I could go for that.

Go for the $1 pledge and then add extra on top of that for whatever tripods you want.  There is currently a choice os Assault, Scout, Grenadier, Dominator, Harvester, Red Martian and Overseer  Tripods

I am pledging at the Overseer level as I want mostly martians but can't resist all the free stuff.  I will probably get some other 15mm ww1 stuff to use as well later in the year.  Thinking Anzacs.
