From a link on TMP to steam-powered toys I found my way to this page:

http://www.crabfu.com/steamtoys/diy_steampunk/

Although this page targets how to draw steampunk machines, it contains lots of inspirational drawings for vehicle projects and, more importantly, provides a useful design tutorial on the anatomy of steam machines. This should probe to be very useful when trying to make your steam vehicles look right.

Now that's some bang-up inspiration.

I work with brass on occassion. Now mostly plastics and a bit of wood.

Bravo!
