Here is my first contribution to the LAF forum with my Pirate collection as a WIP. The boards and town are scratch built as are the market stalls, with some extras from Ainsty Castings. Miniatures are from Crusader and Artizan Designs. Please excuse the camera work.
First a shot of the whole table showing the main town of Santa Pina Colada

The town with some buildings still to be finished off.

Part of the docks.

The fort on the promontory.

The sandy beach.

The jungle and village.

The start of the market (more stalls to be added) and in the background the mound where the Governor's house will be.

Next some of the Pirate Crews. These are painted by Tony Laughton of The General's Bivouac.
http://www.thegeneralsbivouac.co.uk/First up is the Privateer Captain and his crew.

The Pirate Captain and his crew

The Governor with his trusties

Next steps are to finish off the remaining buildings and paint them and the trade goods, add a few more palm trees and populate the town and the fort. I also have a couple of Ainsty ships in the pipeline.
Finally I have started writing my own Pirate skirmish rules which I have provisionally titled 'Dead Man's Chest'. I hope to have them finalised soon.
Hopefully this post will spur me to finish the project.
