Yep, they are John Jenkins Designs - the best range by far but alas no longer available.  I see the painting service John is/was involved in still uses these castings from their ebay listings so I presume they have the moulds?

There is still an entry for them on the website it just doesn't list any packs.... I think someone said you could get them if you contacted JJD. Of course without any pics of the range, how are you supposed to know what to ask for?

JJD (UK) listed a heading for them too but only the undead ones were ever offered and they have gone now as well.

I have quite a few different packs but only one of each and pics I saved years ago, I bought all mine in Hong Kong whilst on a business trip. I think I still have the header cards but it would be tricky to match my pile of loose metal to them for the codes.

Bloody gorgeous!
 :-* :-*

As well as the last couple of update that I missed.

I like the way you have tarted up the 'not so good' sculpts with such flamboyant designs.
Are they based on 'someone we know's kimono collection?

been awhile, a month in fact, so I thought I would add a couple of recent bits

done some more of the JJD. Temporary base whilst I decide how I will group them there is also something very unusual, in fact unique, about some of these - can you spot it?

and this is still WIP but nearly finished

the horses should have been bays with white bellies and black manes but I wanted this one different

Very nice minis...I think the unique point is that perhaps some are left handed ???? :)

No, I have had to do left handed before.  Believe it or not the second set of four infantry are my first using a full black undercoat instead of white.  I was happy with them but they were no quicker and I had to change and think through how to do some of the colours, everything I have painted so far since has been on white.
