yep....the very flare has gone up...the period is pretty captivating

Shaun...i know...you know what its like..it fits into my niche areas of
interest and i love the film simples!! :D

Nick.............the whole scenario was all a bit Mexican !!!with all the
different factions ..been on my mind for a while. tried out a couple of sculpts ................this was the green for me.

was by far the best.............my Spanish -American war yanks rough riders

will do for the yanks..................Palace Guard next..maybe,,or more

Berbers.

Furt ..i was really pleased with the rendidtion of the sword as well

Fram....likeness is good and was important on the sculpt brief i gave out

now to get him cast.....

You need a Yank Sergent with a pump action shotgun if you are going to do it justice and some Germans in Pickelhaubes, one officer in particular wearing a monicle wielding a Mauser and sabre. ;)

im making this morning...as are some of the other characters...the old boy

who plugs a few of the Berbers at the beginning!!. loads of great

characters..........the Company of Marines potrayed win the fim were

Spanish Special forces no wonder they moved so crisply and looked the

Early 20th century Morocco is one of my (too many) projects. Interesting context with so many foreign countries trying to set a foot in there. Could give ideas of diplomatic scenarios, and/or Pulp mixed with international diplomacy. A sort of French-flavoured (or Spanish-flavoured in the north) chaos in Cairo.
