I believe an armoured train was deployed on Sodor during the 1926 General Strike.

I think he was called Arnie.

The token History Major in our dorm would tell people his thesis was "Labor Relations on the pre-Nationalisation Sodor Railway."

I didn't realize he was joking until years later when I had kids.

Nice one Brent. I know you have worked on this beauty for some time now and I'm sure Company B will reap the rewards for such labours of love.  8)
Best wishes,
Helen

I suppose with some modification, the train can be used for just about any era...

I've updated our site with some "modification" pages on the lower left side, that show some of the models, including the train...that have been altered from their original form.  as more ideas filter in and I have time to build them, we'll post downloadable pdf "how to) pages so folks can do their own cheaply.  This seems better than coming out and making dozens of variants kits of each model.  If anyone has built one of our models, and/or converted it...please send it in!

of note, we already have a "train" variant.  We used our train flat cars and gondola cars to make a Japanese troop train from Burma.  The truck is a converted Blue moon model.

I'm hoping the flat cars will provide folks a good platform for their own ideas...maybe we'll do a contest in the future?!

Like your Japanese troop train! However, looking at the crowd stuffed into the first car, I can't help but be reminded of the Keystone Kops!  lol

Wonderful!  Well done again.  Any plans for an armoured flat car? :-*

Not to be a downer but...

Being as I am CompanyB's partner I would tell you that a May 30 release date is aggressive. The timelines on this have slipped all along.

I expect it to be available sometime in the next month and a true release date is very dependent on the resin caster.

We will of course get it out as fast as possible and I plan on doing a "Storm in the East" RCW/WWI miniatures deal to go along with purchasing the train.

The Citroen is entering the final stages before release. Again this is dependent upon the resin caster.

I give up. A Brigade special to go with the train would throw me right over the edge into Back of Beyond.  ;D
