The kiosk is particularly nice.  Its menu, less so  lol

A full street or table of this stuff is going to look exceptionally nice.

Finally, I have an update. Real life has sucked lately. My hobby time has been severely limited. In the past few weeks I've done a little work on another couple buildings, but nothing finished yet. I also got three vehicles painted and six figures re-based and ready to use. I'll start out with the re-based miniatures. First up, a group of three Superfigs civilians.

and next we have a group of three Boomers from Bubblegum Crisis. These were a pain to get off their original integral bases, so I don't know when I'll get around to re-basing my A.D. Police.

This is a small military vehicle from Arctic Skunk. I've painted up as a civilian model, to go with the military one I already finished.

This is one of Mike's many Aircars from the Arctic Skunk site. I really need to finish a couple more of these aircars.

Here we have a MoPad. In the Judge Dredd universe, many people live there entire lives in these mobile homes, constantly moving around the Mega City. I'm afraid this one is far too small, but I like the look of it anyway, so I'm keeping it. I made it out of a toy train piece I never thought I'd ever use. It's been modified with Platformer parts.

and finally I've taken a shot of all of these together, so you can see how this stuff scales together. This is a small preview of how I want the road to look during the game, crowded and busy.

Let me know what you think. Who knows when I'll get another update posted, but I'm hoping it's a little sooner next time.

A great update, Michka.

Nice civilians.
I feel that those bases should not look as good as they do but I really like your approach to them.

Nice vehicals, too.
My favourite is the small Mopad.
It does scream 'MOPAD!' with that look.

Mopads MUST come in different sizes.
This must be the equivalent to the studio flat.
On wheels.
 :D

Great stuff all round.
Love it!

Thanks everyone. I do hope to have some buildings to show off by next week.

Mason: Thanks for the idea. A MoPad for the single guy or gal sounds just about right. I can see that.
SogMot: I got those Boomers years and years ago, back when you could still buy them from the anime company. I saw a few still floating around, but can't remember where.

Mopads MUST come in different sizes.

They do.  During one of his relatively recent escapes PJ Maybe hijacked a mopad approximately that size, roughly the size of a caravan/trailer/mobile home IIRC.  So your mopad is canonically sound (not that it matters, but y'know, its nice when it fits in all the same).

The mopad is a nice model.  It looks great.  The blue car is cute too.

I picked up a couple of sets of "Rides" from Zombiesmith to help populate my own sci-fi city terrain.  They are simple castings but are low-cost and they look a lot like like small MC1 vehicles to me.  They could easily be embellished with Platformer bits or whatever to make variants too.

Im not keen on those paint jobs, but the models look the part I think.

I cnt wait to see the new buildings :)

How do their Landmates scale up to other 28's? I've always wanted some too.

Michka, I can't get fire escapes out of my head for some reason. I remember when I was a little kid going to grade school that we had a fire escape that was nothing more than a big tube that you sat down in and slid down to the ground floor. It was a fun but short ride. You could do something like that to quickly get people from the roof to the street.
Jane! Stop this crazy thing!
